AnJ, Basso to play for North Academy at Assembly Winter
Allan "AnJ" Jensen and Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard are part of the line-up submitted by North Academy for Assembly Winter.
The Danish team have been tipped to bring in two new players as Daniel "mertz" Mertz has been recruited by the organisation's main team, and Nicklas "gade" Gade is expected to follow suit owing to Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke reportedly needing to take a break for personal reasons.
Allan "AnJ" Jensen, 23, recently returned to Denmark from a six-month spell in North America with NRG, with whom he attended three DreamHack Open events and the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals. Prior to his stint overseas, he was notably part of the Singularity roster that won Copenhagen Games 2017 after beating Epsilon, BIG and dreamchasers.
Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard, 19, is mostly known for his time with the Reason Gaming squad that placed third in the Gfinity Elite Series Season 2. He was the team's top player in the league, averaging a 1.32 rating after finishing all maps with 1+ ratings.
North Academy have been drawn in Group B for Assembly Winter, along with ALTERNATE aTTaX, HAVU and FC Lahti Menace. A total of $15,000 will be on offer at the Finnish event, which will run from February 2-3.
